PORAC Endorses Das Williams for Assembly District 35

62,000 member strong PORAC joins numerous other public safety organizations in supporting Das Williams



SANTA BARBARA, CA — Das Williams reports today that his campaign for State Assembly has been endorsed by the Peace Officers Research Association of California (PORAC).

“It’s an honor to be endorsed by California’s rank-and-file police officers, deputy sheriffs, probation officers and other public safety professionals,” said Das. “These men and women risk their lives every day for our communities and I will do everything I can to continue to honor their work and contributions in the State Assembly.”

PORAC is the state’s largest rank-and-file law enforcement organization, representing 62,000 sworn public safety officers from 890 local and regional public safety associations.

PORAC joins numerous other public safety groups in support of Williams’ candidacy including the Santa Barbara Police Officers Association, AFSCME Local 685 Deputy Probation Officers, the California Asian Peace Officers’ Association, the California Association of Highway Patrolmen, the California Professional Firefighters, Ventura County Professional Firefighters Association (VCPFA), the Santa Barbara City and County Firefighters, and the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection Firefighters (CDF Firefighters).
